As I sit here in the national fellowship of raceway ministries annual conference, the director Roger Marsh is talking about the theme of the conference. But it’s the type of theme that could be and needs to be applied to the Body of Christ. Together We Stronger…

Unity is key if we are going to make a global impact for the Body of Christ. God can use us as individuals but how much more effective we are when we work as a team. God created each of us with unique gifts and talents. If we are not all doing our part as a team, then our effectiveness overall is not at the level God intended.

Are you doing your part? Is the team lacking because you are not where God designed for you to be? Remember Together We Stronger…

I am at a point in my journey where I believe God is
calling me to breakout and begin really following His plan for my
life. I know this involves what he created me to do and engaging
people in a strong growing vibrant relationship with him. My
passion is to connect people with God and help others do the same.
I am looking at starting a non-profit ministry on January 1, 2011. Read the rest of this entry »

Taking The Leap

When God calls there is almost always a tough choice that has to be made in the process. One that involves some sort of risk, challenge, or something. It’s at that point that the struggle begins. In my experience, that is where fear creeps into the picture. What if my needs aren’t met? What if my lifestyle has to change? What if we lose the home?

For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. – Romans 7:19 NIV

This roadblock of fear can bring Gods incredible plans for your life to a screeching halt. Read the rest of this entry »

“As my friend Pete said a few weeks ago…God has NEVER asked any of us to do anything that is easy! However, laying aside our comforts and taking up the cross He leads us to take ALWAYS leads to a victory that we could never even imagine.” – Perry Noble

Actually the whole article is really good and hit me exactly where I’m at today. But this quote… wow…When God calls us to His mission, we can’t expect comfortable and easy. Anything worth being blessed with requires work and commitment on our end.

This Got Me This Morning…

Last night I was assisting with an event for work and had a great opportunity to hear an author speak. She had a simple but important message…

Love well…laugh often…live for Jesus

Really that is what life should be all about. Simple and to the point…

I’ve heard similar statements before but maybe it hit me because of where I’m at now…whatever the reason, it’s an important reminder for us all

I spent some time this morning meditating on Ephesians 2:1-10. Some good reminders of the incredible grace of God.

Quick summary:
We are all sinners but because God’s great love for us, He has made us alive in Christ. It is His gift and we just need to receive it.

We are created by God to do what He has prepared for us to do.
