They both were there and they both ate of it
- why did Adam not think this was weird? A talking snake…
- wouldn’t you step in, Adam did not
The fall of maleness and femaleness

They ate and created coverings for what makes them physically unique
- they now felt shame
- they hid and God called for Adam the leader
- – God always keeps pursuing us no matter what
- – they hid physically spiritually – they did not know what would happen – no concept of grace
Adam becomes a blame shifter to eve the to God

Women and serpent are enemies – the women in your life are targets of the evil one
- first referance to Christ
Pain in child-bearing
Your husband will rule over you
- Her Desires means control here
- rule to exert control over- a perversion of God’s design
Man gave up control to wife
- cursed is the ground – work is really hard
- – there will be adversity all your life
They were clothed – animals that were innocent had to die (sacrifice) to cover the mess
They were banashed so as not to eat of tree of life- death entered the world
We live in a broken world but we have hope in the grace God provides
