As I sit here after the first day of 2009, the kids are in bed and Kim is off watching her latest season of whatever she’s into now! (she really does not watch a lot of TV). I am beginning to think through all the “resolutions” that I will try to keep this year.
1. Communicate with God daily (prayer and bible study)
2. Exercise more regularly
3. Become more discipline in my PKU treatment and tracking
4. Read the Bible Daily and get through it in a year (Working with my Twitter friends and YouVersion.com)
5. Blog/Journal more regularly – personally here – Thoughtfully on reconnectwithgod.org/blog – and with quotes on theoutflow.org
Most importantly, I am going to try to work daily on Loving God and Loving others. If I had a mission statement for the year, that would be it.
I want everything I do to exude Jesus – and God calls us to Love Him and Love others. That is my goal – and with God’s plan, the Holy Spirit’s guidence, and the Grace that can only come from what Jesus did for us on the cross, I will do the best I can!
